Product Description
Cyhalofop-butyl 160 gr/Lt + Bispyribac-sodium 40 gr/Lt OD is used as a rice herbicide. The resistance of rice plants toward propanil has been found in an enzyme aryl-acylamidase that rapidly hydrolyzes the herbicide. This enzyme can be inhibited by carbamate insecticides, and this can lead to an increased propanil phytotoxicity.
Mode of Action
Cyhalofop-butyl 160 gr/Lt + Bispyribac-sodium 40 gr/Lt OD is selective preemergence and postemergence herbicide used to control many grasses and broad-leaved weeds in potatoes, rice and wheat.
Use
Cyhalofop-butyl 160 gr/Lt + Bispyribac-sodium 40 gr/Lt OD iswidely used herbicide. Propanil is used mainly to control weed growth in rice fields.
It is belongs to selective preemergence and postemergence herbicide used to control many grasses and broad-leaved weeds in potatoes, rice and wheat.
The principle of diluting with water should be based on the characteristics of the two herbicides and the general requirements for weed control in rice fields. Fenoxaprop primarily controls grassy weeds such as barnyardgrass, while cyhalofop-butyl is effective against barnyardgrass, Eclipta prostrata, and others. Using them in combination can broaden the spectrum of weed control and delay resistance.
Before application, the field water should be drained to fully expose the weeds, enhancing the herbicide's effectiveness. The amount of water for dilution should ensure even coverage of the weeds. Generally, 300-450 kg of water per Lihectare is recommended, but the exact amount should be adjusted according to weed density and field conditions: for high weed density or vigorous growth, the water amount can be increased to 450 kg to improve penetration; for older weeds, sufficient water must be used to thoroughly wet the weeds.
After application, shallow water (3-5 cm) should be restored within 24-48 hours, maintaining water for 5-7 days to preserve efficacy, but the water layer should not submerge the rice heart to avoid herbicide injury. The rice should not be treated more than once per season to reduce risks. It is recommended to apply the herbicide when weeds are at the 2-3 leaf stage, as they are more susceptible and the herbicide is more effective.
